There's nothing wrong with checking up on your antivirus software, and HitmanPro makes an easy job of it. It's not a big drawback, but some software allows you to decide whether to automatically upload files to the cloud or scan your computer every day at startup before initiating the first scan. You'll have to change any default settings you don't want before you hit that button because there's no way to alter any settings once it initiates the scan.
